How To Build A Simple E-Learning Platform With No-Code Tools

Compare the work you need

A hosted course platform can package common course tasks together. A custom platform gives you more control over the learner experience.

Compare the same requirements across both options:

• Learner signup, login, and account recovery.
• Course access after purchase and access removal after refunds.
• Video hosting, captions, and transcripts.
• Progress tracking and downloadable materials.
• Support, billing records, and email delivery.
• Data exports, ongoing maintenance, and total operating cost.

Avoid choosing from an old pricing screen. Check current vendor plans against your actual requirements.

Start with a small course

Use one module to test the lesson page, account access, and support form. Keep the first version manageable.

Test a learner with access, a learner without access, and a logged-out visitor. Test direct lesson and download URLs.

A hidden menu does not protect a publicly reachable file. Put sensitive lesson material behind an appropriate protected delivery method.
