7 No-Code Chrome Extensions: A Historical Tour

Watch the original video

This May 2021 video reviews seven Chrome extensions for Webflow, Airtable, and Zapier work. Keep it as a historical tour. Browser extensions and their supporting products can change or disappear. Before installing one, check its publisher, permissions, update history, and current support.

Original extensions and tasks

Webflow Color Picker Tool — 00:55

The recording demonstrates selecting colours while building in Webflow. For a current project, check the Designer's own colour tools before installing another extension.

Airtable Web Clipper — 01:22

This example captures information from a website into Airtable. Airtable still documents Web Clipper. Configure fields around the information you are permitted to collect. Test one record and retain its source URL before clipping a large list.

Push by Zapier — 03:19

The historical example triggers a workflow from the browser. That can help capture a page without repeatedly switching tools. Zapier documents its current Chrome extension. Confirm its trigger before copying the old setup.

Modkit for Webflow — 05:04

The recording describes warnings when class changes affect elements on other pages. The reusable lesson is to inspect shared classes before changing them. Check another affected page after the edit.

Finsweet Scrollbar Extension — 06:36

This example customises a scrollbar's appearance. Finsweet's current product list describes its broader Extension as a native Webflow app. Do not assume the historical standalone Chrome tool is the current installation path. Check keyboard scrolling and visual contrast after styling.

Insights Prototype by Zapier — 07:20

The recording describes extracting selected page information for another tool. Treat this as a historical prototype, not a current lead-sourcing recommendation. A public profile does not establish permission to collect its data or contact the person.

Refine Zapier — 09:10

The example addresses finding and managing Zaps across folders. The old claim that Zapier cannot search individual Zaps is not a current feature statement. Check current built-in organisation tools before adding an extension.

Choose one problem first

Keep the original tour for context, then test a supported tool on non-sensitive data. For broader Webflow requirements, review the six-tool selection guide. You do not need seven extensions to build a useful workflow.
