I have been playing around with a new tool called Chipbot Pylons that allows me to add little video popups to my website that I hoped would help website visitors decide what to do next. Test video popups as an experiment

This review records my early Chipbot Pylons experiment. It does not establish a conversion improvement. The original chapters cover website use cases, setup, a feature wishlist, and filming tips. Chipbot's release notes describe Pylon video funnels and installation tutorials. They do not prove results for my website.

Choose one page and one question visitors often ask. Record a short answer with a clear next step. Check whether the popup covers forms, navigation, or important text on a small screen. Provide a readable alternative for people who cannot play the video.

Compare completed enquiries before and during the test. Record traffic sources and the test period alongside the numbers. Stop or adjust the popup if visitors dismiss it repeatedly or it blocks the page. For an existing customer journey, consider video during onboarding.
