Stripe Payment Links: How I Build A Simple E-Commerce Store in Airtable

This recording shows a small product catalog in Airtable with Stripe Payment Links.

Airtable organizes the products. Stripe hosts the payment screen. This demonstration does not replace inventory or order management.

Build the product catalog

Store the product name, description, image, price reference, and Payment Link URL. Share only fields intended for customers.

Keep private order records outside the public catalog. Check what a public Airtable view exposes before sharing it.

Confirm an order through Stripe

A customer opening a success page does not prove payment. Use a verified Stripe webhook and retrieve the Checkout Session.

Follow Stripe’s fulfillment guidance for payment state and delayed payment methods.

Store the Checkout Session ID as the order’s unique payment reference. Repeated events must resolve to the same order.

Fulfill only once

Record paid, awaiting fulfillment, and fulfilled states separately. Store the fulfillment reference after sending or shipping the product.

Confirm stock, delivery details, and support requirements before accepting payment. A catalog link does not reserve limited inventory by itself.

Test the full path

Use Stripe test mode and a test product. Verify one paid checkout creates one order.

Repeat the event and confirm it creates no second order or delivery. Test failed and delayed payments before enabling fulfillment.
