Parabola: How To Bulk Update Your Data Across Platforms
Match Airtable rows to Webflow item IDs in Parabola before limited bulk updates, count checks, and recovery planning.

This recording shows bulk Webflow CMS updates using Parabola. It imports Airtable and Webflow data, joins them, then sends updates.
The useful principle is matching each source row to the intended Webflow item before writing.
Keep a stable matching key
Store the Webflow item ID in Airtable. Import that ID into Parabola alongside the fields you want to change.
Join the source rows to Webflow rows by item ID. Do not match by display name alone.
Filter out blank IDs, duplicate IDs, and unmatched rows. Review those exceptions separately.
Keep one output row per Webflow item. Limit the payload to fields you intend to update.
Preview before sending updates
Export the current target values first. Save the mapping and input rows so you can explain each change.
Use a test Webflow collection with three selected items. Show the item ID, old value, and proposed value together.
Check the current connector’s field types and supported Webflow API version. Use the current Webflow Data API documentation when comparing payloads.
Check a limited run
Run those three items only. Compare three expected updates with three destination records.
Run the same data again. Existing items should remain the same items, with no new creations.
Stop on unexpected matches, empty required fields, or failed writes. Retry unresolved item IDs after checking the destination.
Plan recovery before a larger batch. Restore saved field values by item ID if a tested reversal is necessary.
Review field mapping before changing image, reference, or rich-text fields.
