MailersendWatch: MailerSend: How To Send Transactional Emails
This historical tutorial introduces MailerSend in my no-code stack. MailerSend allows you to create transactional emails without needing to know how to code. This has been something that has been missing (or a bit tedious) in the No Code space and this tutorial shows one workflow I used. In this tutorial, I give you a break down of how it works by showing you a specific use case on Unicorn Factory. Check it out here: MailerSend referral link (Affiliate link) TIMESTAMPS

Map one transactional message
This historical tutorial uses MailerSend with Airtable and Zapier to send a Unicorn Factory message. Start with a verified sending domain and a From address allowed for that domain. MailerSend’s sending guide explains the setup and Activity view.
Personalization variables use double braces and case-sensitive names.
For an illustrative template, use Hello {{name}}, your profile is ready: {{profile_url}}.
Map Airtable's name to name and its approved public profile URL to profile_url.
Resolve the recipient from the intended customer record.
Before sending, preview a complete name, a missing name, and a long URL. Use a fallback greeting for an empty name. Never replace a missing recipient with an unrelated contact. Send the first test only to your own permitted test address. Keep template ID, recipient record ID, message purpose, and provider message ID in the send log.
An accepted API request does not prove delivery. Check provider Activity for delivered, bounced, or rejected states. After an uncertain send, inspect that log before retrying. Use the email tool guide to separate transactional messages from marketing campaigns.
