Bind every edit to its owner

This historical workflow uses a separate updates table and an Approved View before syncing to Webflow. Keep the request separate from the published profile so reviewers can compare old and proposed values.

Store a request ID, verified member ID, target freelancer ID, changed fields, review state, and destination item ID. Check the signed-in member's relationship to the target freelancer before accepting an edit. Reject a request for another freelancer, even when its submitted record ID looks valid.

Allow specific profile fields such as biography and availability. Do not accept membership state, billing state, approval flags, or owner IDs through the profile form. A rejected change leaves the published profile unchanged. A failed sync remains reviewable with the previous destination ID and an error message.

Repeated requests need stable IDs. Decide whether a newer approved request replaces an earlier pending request. Test two freelancer accounts and a repeated submission before connecting publication. For interface convenience, add user-specific profile links. Keep record authorization in the trusted update service.
