Webflow Apps: Choose Extensions by the Task

WebflowWebflow Apps brought more third-party tools into the Designer. My original tour discussed Unsplash, Jasper AI, and Finsweet Table. The useful question is which task an app completes, and what access it needs.
Two different ways an app works
Designer APIs manipulate elements, styles, components, variables, and pages inside the Designer. Data APIs work with site data through authenticated requests. An app can use both, but installing an extension does not make every backend operation available. Review its requested permissions and supported features.
Task 1: Add an appropriate image
The Unsplash example concerns finding an image while designing. Judge an image app by whether it inserts the intended asset and preserves a useful filename and alternative text. Check the image's licensing and relevance separately from app installation. Stock photography does not establish a real client project or team member.
Task 2: Draft page copy
The Jasper AI example concerns writing assistance. Give any writing app the audience, offer, and approved facts. Compare its draft with those inputs before using it. Generated copy needs review for invented claims, repeated phrasing, and incorrect service details.
Task 3: Build a table layout
The Finsweet Table example concerns structured presentation. Check the current app listing before choosing it for a new project. Test headings, narrow screens, and keyboard behavior on a duplicate page. A table layout alone does not ensure better SEO or accessibility.
These are evaluation tasks, not newly completed app tests. First choose extensions by your site's requirements. Then review additional extensions if the first shortlist leaves a specific gap. Install one app at a time so you can identify what changes.
